Order and Shipping:

When you place your order with Plates for Cars your order will be dealt with in the most efficient manner. When you place your order you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order, and then you will be updated when your number plates have been dispatched.

Your order will be sent with our courier DPD, below are all the postage options we offer to the UK:

The DPD service will email and send you an SMS when the order has been collected and then again on the morning of delivery, giving you a 1 hour window for when the order will be delivered. You can then re-arrange, or request for the order to be left in a safe place or with a neighbour if no one is in.

The "follow my parcel" function enables you to see who your delivery driver is, what delivery he is currently making and his location, and also the complete tracking history of the package.

You can pay for your order by credit or debit card online. Our website is fully secure so all payment details submitted will be secure at all times and no credit or debit card details are stored for security. We accept all major credit and debit cards including MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, Visa, Visa Electron and Visa Debit. All payments will appear on your credit or debit card statement as PLATES FOR CARS Dublin.

If your order is placed before 3pm Monday to Friday your order will be dispatched the same day. If your order is placed after 3pm Friday you order will be processed on the Monday and also dispatched on the Monday excluding UK and Ireland bank holidays.

Your order will arrive in bespoke packaging specifically designed for the transit of number plates to ensure your number plates are not damaged in transit. On large orders and orders which contain large number plates we will manually wrap the order using bubblewrap and parcel paper. You can also order fixing kits to mount your number plates once you have checked out.
