When you place your order with Plates for Cars your order will be dealt with in the most efficient manner. When you place your order you will receive an email confirming that we have received your order, and then you will be updated when your number plates have been made, and also when they have been dispatched

Your order will be sent with Royal Mail. You will have the choice to either send it 1st class special delivery which costs £9.99, 1st class recorded for £5.99, 1st class for £4.99 or 2nd class for £3.99.

Royal Mail 1st class special delivery is guaranteed to arrive on the next working day before 1pm, if the order is placed before 1pm Monday - Friday. Royal Mail 1st class and 1st class recorded generally arrives the next working day but this is not a guaranteed service and can sometimes take up to 3 days to arrive. Royal Mail 2nd class generally arrives within 3-5 working days.

We recommend the Royal Mail Special Delivery service for urgent orders and if you are looking for that guaranteed delivery date. Special delivery and Recorded items will require a signature on arrival so someone will need to be in to sign for your items.

We also offer shipping too Europe for £19.99 which takes 3-7 working days and shipping too anywhere in the world for £29.99 which takes 5-10 working days.

You can pay for your order by credit or debit card online. Our website is fully secure so all payment details submitted will be secure at all times and no credit or debit card details are stored for security.

We accept all major credit or debit cards including MasterCard, MasterCard Debit, Visa, Visa Electron and Visa Debit. All payments will appear on your credit or debit card statement as PLATES FOR CARS Dublin.

If your order is placed before 1pm Monday to Friday your order will be dispatched the same day. If your order is placed after 1pm Friday you order will be processed on the Monday and also dispatched on the Monday.

Your order will arrive in bespoke packaging specifically designed for the transit of number plates to ensure your number plates are not damaged in transit. On larger orders and orders which include large plates or frames we will manually wrap the order using bubblewrap and parcel paper.
